Ensure prompt and courteous service to patients, whether on the telephone or in person.


Education: High school graduate or equivalent


Licensure/Certification: N/A


Experience: understanding and experience with various computer programs and basic keyboard and typing skills; excellent customer service skills; accurate cash handling and data entry.


  • Use of online Patient Registration to accurately register patients
  • Use of the Laboratory Information System (LIS) to look up and print patient orders
  • Accurately make change and manage $200 cash drawer
  • Perform data entry and accurately track patient payments
  • Understand other departments and how they interact with the operations of the organization
  • Understand and adhere to HIPAA policies, procedures and regulations.
  • Participate in Quality Assurance Monitors.
  • Follow all established I.Q. protocols
  • Take Customer Service phone calls and follow up of patient and client requests.
  • Filing, use of copy machine, phone system and calculator as needed.
  • Understand and adhere to HIPAA policies, procedures and regulations to assure patient confidentiality.
  • Perform other work related duties as assigned.

General Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 30-40 lbs.
  • Typically sits for extended period of times
