Responsible for supervisory and leadership responsibilities for employees working within a geographical area of Interpath Laboratory under the direction of the Laboratory Manager.
Proficient use of Microsoft Office products, use of multiple data bases, coordination of people, effective meeting facilitator, effective written and oral communications.
Education: High School graduate or equivalent, and college education preferred.
Experience: 2-5 years previous supervisory experience; Good communication skills; Accurate and detail oriented; Good organizational skills; Ability to manage workload and delegate.
Responsible for supervisory and leadership in a given area, including patient service centers, courier, specimen processing, specimen collection.
Maintain Interpath’s corporate culture at all facilities.
Maintain compliance with all corporate policies, protocols and procedures at site.
Direct and supervise, with the help of the manager, phlebotomists, specimen processors, and couriers within the site’s responsibility.
Monitor each site’s clinical laboratory and patient service center site, operations and quality through frequent site visits, with a focus on our success of delivering clients high quality laboratory services.
Actively evaluate and monitor the productivity and efficiency of each site and all associated personnel as a mechanism to reduce cost and enhance productivity.
Each employee will have a job description and all elements of that job description will be monitored on a monthly basis for each direct report.
Must be willing to travel to different sites often, all within approximately 100 miles.
