Interpath Laboratory is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registration Specialist to join our team in Pendleton, Oregon. In this crucial role, you will ensure patient data from healthcare provider lab order requisitions is entered accurately and efficiently before patient specimens reach the core laboratory for testing. Your attention to detail and adherence to established procedures will help maintain our high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately utilize the online Patient Registration system to enter patient data into the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
Actively participate in Quality Assurance monitoring activities to ensure the integrity and accuracy of the registration process.
Accurately translate physician orders and diagnoses from requisition forms into the LIS.
Follow established work checklists and procedures to ensure all tasks are completed on schedule.
Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA policies and procedures to maintain patient confidentiality.
Understand and follow Medicare guidelines, including regulations related to Advance Beneficiary Notices (ABN).

Night differential pay (10%) for night shift hours.

Monday – Friday, 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM

High school diploma or equivalent (required).
Experience in specimen processing or a related field is a plus, but not required.
Ability to learn and effectively use Interpath Laboratory's internal registration system (training will be provided).
Demonstrated ability to perform tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail.
Comfortable using computers and laboratory applications.
Ability to adhere to established procedures and guidelines to maintain a high standard of work.
