We are seeking an experienced Phlebotomist/Processor with excellent people skills to enhance our team. Ideal candidates will have a collaborative spirit and a commitment to supporting both our patients and our team’s goals.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm with a one-hour lunch break

Location: 315 E Elm St. #201

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Administrative duties: Providing excellent customer service, answering phones, and monitoring for instrumentation alarms.
• Technical responsibilities: Retrieving blood samples (via venipuncture) and other specimens, preparing them for laboratory testing, and performing screening procedures.
• Accurate data management: Verifying specimen information, performing data entry, and properly identifying patient information.
• Specimen handling: Receiving, processing, and packaging samples for referral labs while maintaining specimen integrity.
• Compliance: Following safety protocols, HIPAA policies, Medicare rules, and participating in quality assurance.
• Flexibility: Covering work shifts at different sites as needed to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Minimum 1 year of phlebotomy experience, not including experience gained through certification training (certification itself is not required)

• Consistent work history with minimal career gaps

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and with patients of all ages

Skills:

• Strong organizational and time management abilities

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with patients and team members

• High attention to detail and accuracy in all responsibilities

• Solid problem-solving skills and adaptability in dynamic settings

• Laboratory setting with automated equipment emitting ambient sounds.
