Are you passionate about cellular diagnostics and quality patient care? Interpath Labs is expanding into the Midwest and we’re seeking a Cytotechnologist to join our team and play a vital role in detecting disease at the cellular level. This is an opportunity to help get a brand new lab up and running, with amazing administrative support.  You will have a chance to make a measurable difference in patient outcomes while working in a supportive, science-driven environment.

In this role, you will:

• Screen gynecologic and non-gynecologic slides with precision using both standard and computer-assisted microscopy.

• Identify abnormal or malignant findings accurately, following Bethesda guidelines.

• Ensure quality through departmental procedures, Pap Proficiency testing, and continuous improvement practices.

• Participate in research projects, instrument validations, and the integration of new technologies.

• Collaborate with pathologists and lab professionals to deliver reliable, timely results.

• Dedication to maintaining high professional standards, confidentiality, and teamwork.
• Work Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime offered.

Pay is between $40 - $55 per hour, comensurate with experience.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cytotechnology.

Licensure/Certification: ASCP certification or equivalent required.

Experience: Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

This position performs tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids and/or tissues. All employees performing these duties are offered the opportunity to receive the Hepatitis-B vaccination series.
