Be part of something new! Interpath Laboratory is opening a state-of-the-art facility in Omaha, NE, and we’re seeking a PRN Cytologist to help build it from the ground up.
About the Role:
In the initial phase, you’ll play a key role in setting up policies, equipment, and test validations as we prepare for full operations. Once the lab is live, you’ll perform screening and interpretation of cytologic specimens, ensuring accurate and timely diagnostic results.
Qualifications:
ASCP certification (or eligible) in Cytology required
Experience in a clinical lab setting preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Cytotechnology or a related biological science
ASCP certification as a Cytotechnologist (CT) required
Minimum of 3 years of recent cytology experience in a clinical laboratory setting
Proven competency in both gynecologic and non-gynecologic cytology
Familiarity with laboratory setup, validation, and quality control procedures preferred
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently in a startup environment
